The Campo de Cahuenga District invites our entire WLACC Scouting family to the “Magical Mystery Tour & Scout Family Adventure!”

For the month of March, scouts and their families can take part in the three-part adventure:

• Destinations: Unknown! – hunt for objects and locations all around the East SF Valley;
• Family Activity challenges, and
• Virtual Campfire to wrap the whole thing up!

The fun starts March 5^th! We’ll send you a Google Drive link on the 5^th where you will find the detailed activity descriptions and rules, area map, lists of items and locations, photo hints, family activities.  As your family finds these items and does these activities, take group selfies to document your family’s adventures, then send to our judges by April 1^st. 

April 17^th we’ll host a virtual campfire to share skits, songs and announce our judges’ favorite photos and videos from those submitted.

We’ve created lots to do over the four weeks of the Tour.  Your family team can go for them all, or select a few; either way, it’s about having fun as a family while solving the puzzles we’ve devised.

Want to rack up points?  You’ll need to do these things:

• Take a picture at each location/object found. Pictures must include your scout(s) in uniform and the location/item clearly visible.
• Each photo must include at least a uniformed scout and a parent/guardian.
• Locations/items must be found “as-is” and not created (for example, please do not paint your home’s door red for the event.)
• Hand out cards and/or even applications for Scouting!

Drive safely, walk safely, and wear your masks when around others. You do not “have” to find every single item, but wouldn’t it be cool if you did?

AWARDS AND PRIZES??  Sure, for top scores, etc., TBA and TBD (to be donated), but again, having fun as a family is what it’s all about!

Remember, the scouts must wear their uniforms in all pictures and videos to earn points.

All scoring by event judges is final.
