Please join us for the Second Annual Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy Community Weekend!
This will be a fun Island weekend to hear Academy updates, connect with new and old friends and Academy supporters, and enjoy camp activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and archery.
Transportation will be via Harbor Breeze from Long Beach. Transportation subject to change.
The weekend is open invite: Staff alumni, organizational partners, schools and families, the Island community, and anyone who has interest in learning more about the Academy.
Lodging will be shared cabin spaces. Anyone who would prefer to stay in tent housing is welcome to do so, please email burton.miller@scouting.org to arrange tent housing.
*Current registration is based on available cabin space. Once cabin spaces have been filled, additional registration spots may be opened for tent housing.*

Saturday, May 27:
6:00 - 6:30 AM: Arrival at Harbor Breeze Long Beach (100 Aquarium Way Dock #2) and board boat.
6:30 AM: Harbor Breeze departs from Long Beach
8:00 AM: Arrival Camp Emerald Bay & Breakfast
8:30 AM: Camp Orientation & Housing Assignments
9:00 - 12:00: Free Time Activities
12:30 PM: Lunch
1:00 - 5:00 PM: Free Time Activities
6:00 PM: Dinner
7:30 PM: Optional Beach Campfire
Sunday, May 28:
7:30 AM: Breakfast
8:00 - 12:00: Free Time Activities

1:00 - 5:00 PM: Free Time Activities
6:30 PM: Beach Tie Gala & Dinner (Participants will go straight down to the beach, not the dining hall. The Beach Tie Gala is a fun outdoor party on the waterfront with dinner included. There will be games, music, drinks, and dancing. Wear your best wacky beach wear!)
Monday, May 29:
7:30 AM: Breakfast
8:00 - 8:30 AM: Pack Up, Clean Cabins & Line Up on Pier
9:00 AM: Harbor Breeze Departs to Long Beach
10:30 AM: Harbor Breeze Arrives in Ling Beach

Registration is offered in Tiers to allow people to join at Donor Levels. Please consider selecting a Donor Level to support the ongoing work of the Academy!
The first two registrations that include at least one Gray Whale level sponsor will be housed in one of our beach houses. This page will be updated when those have been booked.
