Bill Hart IOLS & BALOO Training Fall 2024

Friday, September 20, 5:30PM to 10:00PM

& Saturday, September 21, 8:00AM to 8:00PM

BALOO only participants are not required to camp overnight,

but must return by 7:00 Saturday morning

How Much?

$50

Eat before or bring your own dinner on Friday night. 

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Wear your Field Uniform (formerly called a “Class A” uniform) if you have one --

but come anyway if you don’t.

Dress appropriately for the weather.

BALOO participants – there’s more

BALOO training is now comprised of two components - an online and hands-on component. Both components must be completed to qualify as a “Trained" Cub Scout outdoor leader and to receive the BALOO recognition patch. The online component contains introductory and basic information and must be completed prior to the practical component. Completing the online portion before the BALOO training makes the hands-on training more valuable and meaningful.
