We look forward to camping with you are Camp Emerald Bay in the Summer of 2027! Please read everything below prior to registering.

Required Information

  • You can make your registration without including participant information. You can also add information for just one or two of your participants and come back to add in more.
  • Do not use placeholder information. If you don't have all required information, leave spaces blank and click continue at the bottom of the page.
  • You will need first name, last name, BSA ID, birthday, dietary restrictions, and T-Shirt size for each participant.
  • T-Shirts are not included in the cost of camp.

Pricing

  • Pricing is subject to change based on remaining capacity. The price if you register today is listed below and is the price any future added participants will also pay.
  • A deposit of $800 is required to apply. Registrations without a deposit made will be held for 14 days and then deleted. The deposit is applied to the registration balance.
  • The only accepted methods of payment are E-Check through Doubleknot and check mailed to our Council Office, with the reservation or order number in the memo line.

Payment Schedule – Payments must be postmarked by the following dates

  • Due with initial registration is an $800 non-refundable deposit that applies to the troop’s overall balance.
  • January 8th, 2027 - $250 per participant (including adults) is due.
  • March 5th, 2027 - $250 per participant is due.
  • May 12th, 2027 - Remaining balance is due. Including all program fees.
  • Remaining balance to be paid on last day at camp.

Activity Sign Up

  • Merit Badge and Activity Sign Ups will be available starting April 1st at 10am.
  • We don’t cap most classes. The only classes with caps are American Red Cross Lifeguard, Sailing, Pottery, and Marine Science courses.
  • You may drop into classes once at camp by going to the class you want to participate in.

Rugged Adventures and SCUBA Certification programs

  • Register all participants, and in the “What are they doing” section, you can select Rugged Adventure Programs for your campers. Pay attention to the schedule of Rugged Adventures program on the website. 
  • SCUBA Events are signed up for using a separate SCUBA form. It can be found on the website starting in September.
  • SCUBA event fees are non refundable and subject to In2Deep Diving's policies.

Refund and Cancellation Policy – Share with each participant

  • REFUNDS - Western Los Angeles County Council has a NO REFUND Policy for summer camp reservation payments.
  • HOW MANY TO REGISTER? - Please do not reserve more spaces than you can guarantee to fill. But do not count on adding more spaces later as our weeks do fill up and we may not be able to accommodate your whole troop if you underestimate. Get commitment from participants early. Once the balance is paid in full, refunds will not be issued if participants drop.
  • RESERVATION CHANGES - Increases in numbers can be made until camp is full, at which point you will not be able to make those changes. Decreases in numbers are allowed until the final payment deadline or your registration is paid in full. However, no refunds will be given if the decrease in participants means your registration will have a credit balance even before full payment. Please email us for requests to change your registration, or fill out the registration change request form found on the website.
  • CHANGES CONT. – If you need to swap participants, let us know. We can make swaps of participants at any point, even once the registration is paid in full.
  • WAITLIST – If a week becomes full, contact us to be put on the waitlist. We make a decision on whether to add people from the waitlist in about two weeks.
  • CANCELLATIONS - Cancellation of a whole reservation will result in forfeiture of any payments made.
  • DEPOSIT - A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to apply. Registrations without a deposit made will be held for 14 days and then deleted. This deposit will only be returned if no space is available. The deposit is applied to the registration balance.
  • LATE PAYMENTS - We reserve the right to charge a fee of 10% of the required payment amount to be applied if payments are not received within 2 weeks of payment deadlines.
  • CIRCUMSTANCES THAT WARRANT REFUNDS: If we are unable to provide the program for any reason, troops will be offered to switch to a different week, a future summer event at a WLACC Summer Camp, or given a full refund. Medical and other refunds requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and documentation will be required as a part of the request. All refund requests must be submitted via email to jared.dean@scouting.org and they take 6-8 weeks to process once approved. The funds will be sent to the registration owner.

For Provisional Campers (Groups of campers without two deep leadership)

  • If your registration includes just one participant, Doubleknot will ask you to pay in full if registering after January, you can select Pay By Mail at check out to pay with check, or pay in full at a later date.
  • You are considered provisional if your registration doesn’t include at least two adults.
  • Your group will be assigned to camp with another troop with plenty of adults.

Early Discount
Before 8/16/2026 a discount of $25.00 will apply to all Adult Registrants.
