Please join us for the First Annual Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy Community Weekend!

This will be a fun Island weekend to hear Academy updates, connect with new and old friends and Academy supporters, and enjoy camp activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and archery.

Transportation will be via the Catalina Express from San Pedro. Transportation subject to change if necessary.

The weekend is open invite: Staff alumni, organizational partners, schools and families, the Island community, and anyone who has interest in learning more about the Academy.

Friday, May 27:

2:00 - 2:30 PM: Arrival at Catalina Express San Pedro (Berth 95)

2:55 PM: Catalina Express departs from San Pedro

4:15 PM: Arrival to Two Harbors & Shore Boat to Emerald Bay

5:00 PM: Arrival at Emerald Bay & Housing Assignments

6:30 PM: Dinner

8:00 PM: Social

Saturday, May 28:

7:30 AM: Breakfast

8:00 - 12:00: Free Time Activities

12:30 PM: Lunch

1:00 - 5:00 PM: Free Time Activities

6:30 PM: Beach Tie Gala (The Beach Tie Gala is a fun outdoor party on the waterfront with dinner included. There will be games, music, drinks, and dancing. Wear your best wacky beach wear!)

Sunday, May 29:

7:30 AM: Breakfast

8:00 - 12:00: Free Time Activities (Areas Open)

12:30 PM: Lunch

1:00 - 2:30 PM: Free Time (Areas Closed)

1:30 PM: Optional Camp Tour & Program Highlights

2:30 - 3:15 PM: Pack Up, Clean Cabins & Line Up on Pier

3:30 PM: Shore Boat Departure to Two Harbors

4:45 - 7:00 PM: Catalina Express Departs to San Pedro (Via Avalon)

Registration is offered in Tiers to allow as many to join as are able. Please consider selecting a Sponsor Level to support the ongoing work of the Academy!

The first two registrations that include at least one Gray Whale level sponsor will be housed in one of our beach houses. This page will be updated when those have been booked.
