Participant Names and Merit Badge Information

  • Please DO NOT enter your scout or adult's participant or merit badge information until you're unit's week has been confirmed.

Early Bird Incentive

  • For every ten youth a unit registers for Camp Whitsett prior to December 1st, 2020 will be eligible to receive a discount for the value of one adult leader registration.
  • This discount will be applied to the final payment and will be based upon the final number of Scouts and adult leaders registered at that time.
  • For example,
    • Troop 10 registers by December 1st, 2019 with 20 Scouts and 3 adults. Troop 10 will receive a discount of 2 adult leaders registrations applied to their final balance presuming they maintain 20 youth registrations

Cancellation Policy

  • Any person cancelling/dropping will forfeit any money due on that date whether or not they have paid.
  • COVID: If we are unable to provide program due to COVID-19, troops will be offered to switch to Summer 2022 or given a refund. Please click HERE for more info regarding our Policies and Procedures on COVID.

Payment Schedule

  • Due with initial application is a $600 non-refundable non-transferable deposit.
  • January 8th, 2021 - $100 per camper (including adults).
  • March 5th, 2021 - $100 per camper (including adults).
  • May 21st, 2021 - remaining balance of reservation.

Cancellation Policy
We have a NO REFUND Policy. Each payment is based on the total number of campers, not individuals. If there are any reductions in total numbers (Scouts or Adults) after each payment due date the troop will be responsible for the money due at the time of the cancellation, even if no payment has been made. Payments for cancelled spots are not credited to the troop balance if unit numbers are reduced. FINANCIAL AID IS AVAILABLE: Western Los Angeles County Council is proud to offer Camperships to units. The campership approval process is based upon Scouts Honor and is non-invasive. Please email camping@bsa-la.org to receive a campership form for your unit.
