DATE-  November 12, 2016
WHERE-  Tweedy Lake Resort (24303 Pine Canyon Rd, Lake Hughes, CA 93532)

TIME-  8:30AM (meet to caravan into resort), will end approximately 2:00PM

MEETING PLACE-  The entrance to the resort has a gate which is always locked, so meet on Pine Canyon Road, at the dirt road leading to the resort (see above address). 

SHOOTING-  Clay pigeon shooting (12 gauge shotguns)
FOOD-  Our "Feasting Committee" has planned to cook "Deep Fried Turkeys", which will be ready for SERIOUS FEASTING, at lunch time.  If you have never tried Deep Fried Turkey before, you are in for a mind blowing experience.  More than 12 hours before cooking, the turkey is rubbed with incredibly flavorful spices on the outside, which after it is fried, makes the skin so yummy that most of it never gets to the carving stage (gets picked at/ stolen/ etc. very quickly).  The turkey is also injected, deep into the meat, with a garlic & herb marinade.  The frying process seals the juices in, immediately, so it will be the juiciest turkey you will ever have had.

We are requesting that the balance of the FEAST be provided “pot luck style”.
