Catalina Island has far too much incredible diving for just one underwater program.  Rugged Rescue gives those with advanced PADI certification the opportunity to learn the practical skills of one of the most adventurous diving activities: underwater search and rescue. Participants in this event will earn their PADI Rescue Diver certification.

Rugged Rescue has a minimum class size of 4 participants per week due to staffing requirements.  If there are less than 4 participants registered by one month prior to your arrival at camp for your preferred week, we will work with you to find an alternative

As per BSA National Policy Rugged Rescue participants must be 14 years old by the start of their week of programming

 

Available Dates:

Emerald Bay Session 5 - July 6 - July 12

Emerald Bay Session 9 - August 3 - August 9

 

Payment Schedule:

$200 Deposit per participant is due confirmation of your reservation date.

$200 per participant is due on January 10th, 2014.

$200 per participant is due on March 7th, 2014.

Final Payment due 16 days before unit's arrival to camp.

 

**Medical approval forms will be collected upon arrival.  If a physician has not completed the first two forms, there is a high likelihood that you will be unable to participate.

Cancellation Policy
Registration Policy Rugged Rescue has a minimum class size of 4 participants per week due to staffing requirements. If there are less than 4 participants registered by one month prior to your arrival at camp for your preferred week, we will work with you to find an alternative (a refund is possible up until this date). Any requests for additional space (as well as any other changes) must be done via your online registration. Phone calls and emails are not a confirmation. Cancellation Policy Your first per camper installment of $200 is due January 10th, 2014. Be accurate in the number of participants you expect to come to camp as THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY FUTURE REDUCTIONS AFTER THIS PAYMENT. All additional payments from this point on are non-refundable. Please ensure parents aware of this policy.
